The 'Taking Care of Business: Sustainable Transformation' Conference on the Gold Coast in May 2012 will bring together 'green economy' leaders from Australia and New Zealand and an opportunity to network with others who are building profitable and sustainable business models, services and products.

At this time of great environmental, social and economic upheaval there is an urgency to draw together the wisdom, knowledge and skills of a diverse cross section of our community to accelerate Australia’s transformation to an ecologically sustainable and socially healthy society. Amongst us are scientists, educators, communicators, civil society leaders, NGO leaders, philosophers, farmers, researchers, activists, engineers, religious leaders, architects, social entrepreneurs and youth leaders.

In engaging with such diversity we are striving to achieve a shared understanding of both the nature of the challenges we currently face and the qualities of new systems that we wish to create.
